Care Instructions
Your Drift bag is crafted from premium waxed cotton canvas — a durable natural material designed to age beautifully over time. With proper care, the fabric will develop a unique lived-in patina that reflects everyday use and character.
Everyday Care
- Wipe clean with a soft damp cloth
- Allow mud or dirt to dry before gently brushing away
- Store in a place away from direct heat
- Avoid prolonged exposure to heavy rain or moisture
Do Not
- Machine wash
- Tumble dry
- Dry clean
- Iron directly onto waxed fabric
- Use harsh detergents or chemical cleaners
Heat and agitation can remove the wax finish and alter the texture of the canvas.
Natural Character
Waxed canvas is designed to evolve with use. Creases, markings, and tonal variation are a natural feature of the material and part of its unique character.
Over time, the fabric will soften while maintaining its strength and structure.
Re-Waxing
To maintain water resistance and refresh the finish, your bag can be re-waxed periodically using a wax suitable for cotton canvas.
Re-waxing helps restore:
- water resistance,
- depth of colour,
- and the signature textured finish.
Water Resistance
Waxed canvas offers protection against light rain and everyday moisture, however it is not fully waterproof. We recommend avoiding prolonged exposure to heavy rain or soaking.
